The summer after graduating college, Maren learns some stunning news: her cousin, and friend, has been arrested and is going to prison. This revelation forces Maren to confront her father and his nonacceptance of her sexuality and leads her to speak to her cousin during a visitation hour, where Maren navigates her family’s hidden past and comes to terms with what love means to her.
